Help build the Perth to Esperance Electric Highway!

The WA branch of the AEVA, with support from Horizon Power are fundraising to install 4 or 5 DC fast chargers between Perth and Esperance.  Electric vehicles are here and they are unstoppable, but the last barrier to uptake is the perception you can't use them in the bush.  While untrue, it's certainly a lot harder without decent fast charging infrastructure.

Unfortunately DC fast chargers and their installation are rather expensive - $35,000 for the charger and as much again for installation, depending on the site.  Most small businesses in rural towns simply don't have this kind of money.  So we're here to lend a hand!

Our goal is to raise $350,000 between now and Easter 2020 which will cover the cost of installation of 4 or 5 DC fast chargers.  Businesses are encouraged to join the campaign, particularly those who want to host a charger.  Service stations, hotels, libraries, cafes and hardware stores are all ideal candidates.

Visit and choose a level of support.  Some pretty sweet perks are on offer, including free charging for life - so get in and support this initiative!

A flyer can be found here, and details of the project are available on the Chuffed fundraising platform.
