AEVA launches 1300 member help line
The AEVA now has a member hotline! All current members of the Association can make use of our 'phone an EV friend' 1300 number for anything relating to EV charging, setting up RFID cards to work on public charge points, membership queries or even tips for getting a stuck charge lead out of an Ioniq (for example). This hotline is run by volunteers, for our members. We're not roadside assistance and we're definitely not triple-zero. But, if you have a problem we can do our best. Likewise, if you would like to volunteer your knowledge and experience helping your fellow members around a sticky situation, we're keen to have you on the call roster - get in touch with our Membership Value working group via the national secretary.
The actual number and other details may be found by visiting this link - you'll have to log in to the website first; after all, it is a members-only perk. Standard 1300 call costs apply. Huge thanks to our current volunteer members on the other end of the line, and to Sarah Aubrey for providing voice recordings for the help line.
