Hi guys,
Yeah, it's going to be about $700 as a single shipment, give or take. You can use my Northline account if you want.

Re: AVASS cells 2nd lot
For Kurt and Chris.
I would like to go ahead and get these cells and use Chris's account for transport.
If they are still available:
Kurt, how can I pay you? Chris, how can I pay you?
Kurt, can you liaise with Chris and get them to me please? I feel I am too far away to be effective for this exercise.
Delivery to:
Jeff Johnson
Any freight depot in Emerald, Queensland.

Re: AVASS cells 2nd lot
Sorry, I've been a bit slow checking this thread, I've agreed to sell them to Ivan in Perth. Jeff, I will let you know if that doesn't work out.

Ok Mike. It was a bit out of the box to try to get them from so far away.

Re: AVASS cells 2nd lot
Thanks Chris. I sold the first lot of 8 as two sets of 12V to tech savvy friends for off grid systems. I am in regular touch with both and they are very happy. I provided the Deligreen balancer with the batteries. So far, they love them and happy to get lithium at such a good price.

Re: AVASS cells 2nd lot
Does anybody know is someone is selling any 460Ah AVASS cells. A mate and I brought 16 of the first batch of 460Ah AVASS cells. 8 cells each. I am using my 8 cells for my 24V off grid system. Now in the early morning at about 58% Soc, while the rest of the cells remain around 3.2V, 2 of the cells drop to 2.9V and 2.7V and the lowest one drops to 2.56V. When a load (e.g. a kettle) comes on with a cell at 2.56V the voltage drops below Vmin and operates the LV relay. I would like to replace these 3 cells. Ideally I would not only like to replace these 3 but also have a couple of spares in case anymore also start to play up. Does anyone want to sell some or know someone who is selling some? Cheers

Re: AVASS cells 2nd lot
Sorry, do not know anyone wanting to sell.
However, I bought 8 cells (no spares) and fortunately they are going okay so far. I can get about 430AH from them in a 24V system at rated current 0.2C.
One of the cells is definitely weaker than the others, but at the price the 30AH or so is no big deal.
I presume you have a decent BMS and your cells are being well top balanced?
You have probably already checked, but if the cells are badly balanced you could have that behaviour.
My apologies if you have already checked everything and your two cells are indeed only capable of around 230AH.
I certainly hope not to encounter such an issue in the future! It would be a real bummer.
Cheers,
Dave
