Manganese prices

So with plummeting manganese and nickel prices, you'd think batteries might get cheaper still?

I reckon they should start doing some cobalt exploration. That stuff isn't cheap, and it's essential for high energy density cells.

$US5 per dry metric tonne unit (dmtu), equalling about $US220 a tonne for 44 per cent ore.
44% of $5 is $2.20. One of these figures is wrong by a factor of 100, and I'm guessing it's the former.
