My question might be a little stupid, but learning about inverters, I discovered that off grid inverter would have a quite high "NO LOAD CONSUMPTION".
Some have 25W, 50W when on standby mode, and some up to 192W (PV3000-MPK from MUST-SOLAR°
So I wonder if grid tie inverter would have such kind of consumption when not producing at night ?
Do grid tie inverter have "NO LOAD CONSUMPTION"

Re: Do grid tie inverter have "NO LOAD CONSUMPTION"
Designs that are entirely solar powered are never at no load when it matters. Ie, the only time they are at no load is when the sun is out and the grid is offline.
Designs that are partially mains powered (Solax comes to mind) for their display, Wi-Fi and control hardware do use power at no load. Ie at night and the grid is up

Solax no load is 3.5w for their single phase grid tie only units.
I imagine it would be similar for their non isolated battery units, where the battery design voltage is above 300v.

Got to add some details here, a victron will draw like 5W in sleep mode, it send some beat of sinusoid (evry sec or every 5s, do not remember) and wake up if the demand go over a threshold (let's say 50W, configurable).
