However to get any reasonable range, I'd be looking at 150-200+kWh of batteries, and all the chargers within range of me are 6.6kW
But out of curiosity, if you have a big battery, and it's a small charger, is it more polite to use both charging leads and be done in half the time, or use one charging lead and be there for longer?
So meeting in the middle, imagine I used a 175kWh battery:
- 157.5kWh is required charge if I charge at 10%
- At 6.6kW it would take 23.86 hours to charge
- At 13.2kW it would take 11.93 hours
I mean, I can't imagine this is much of an out there question, as for example the Rivian is coming soon and it's gonna be 180kWh and they're going to need a lot of Fast Chargers, especially if they get purchased as tow vehicles, considering they'll be 3rd or 4th in the class with towing.
