22k for a used 2010!   I don't think they are selling for that price . Though they might be asking that price.

I payed 24,990 for a new 2012 with 12 months rego and a few small extras chucked in.

I would be thinking south of 15k as a more resonable price for a 2010.

Paceway sold several for around $15k, looks like they might be all gone now, at least one person I know bought one after the electrikhana, I wonder if it contributed to the rest going too.

One for sale privately on carsales for around 15, the owner says he'll be buying another in his new home overseas, I have a feeling there won't be many available once they are in private hands, at least until there are other affordable EVs around to trade up to.

Can any of the i-Miev owner that has experienced battery degradation (if any) tell me, how does the battery degradation shown in indicator?

For example, in Leaf, according to this article:
http://www.thecarconnection.com/news/10 ... ters-study

no longer showing 100%, is this the same in i-Miev? Or is it still showing 100% but reduced range?

You will just see it as a loss of range as the battery gauge recalibrates itself.

I have a 2012 model and isn't showing any measurable loss of range from new. From what I have figured based on others sharing their data with higher mileage 80k + on some they are seeing some very minor graceful range reduction but its very small considering the age and KM and can only be detected with careful monitoring from new.

The best way to test the health of the battery is to take the car for a drive until the turtle mode comes on (or even just down to 2 bars remaining) Then recharge the car to 100% and record the KWH returned and compare that to some new Imievs. It will give you a good indication of the capacity of the used battery.

There is a whole thread here on i-MiEV range which does have a fair bit of discussion despite the thread title forbidding it.
I am of the impression our 2010 with 20,000km has significantly less range than my parents 2012(delivered 2014). I think they said they usually get 120ish when adding the range remaining to the distance travelled after a trip. On ours it is usually 95ish.

But I have no idea how much of this is battery degradation vs the difference between 2010 and 2012 models or just difference in drivers.

It still shows full on the "fuel" gauge when charged.

I've got a 2010 model as well and 90-100kms range is rather normal for me. In fact the best I've ever gotten was 110km, without the air-con/fan on whilst travelling about 2kms into turtle mode.

So it could be the difference between the two models.

Just a few left it seems:
http://www.carsales.com.au/cars/results ... TopDeal&q=(((Make%3D%5BMitsubishi%5D)%26(Model%3D%5Bi-MiEV%5D))%26(Service%3D%5BCarsales%5D))&WT.z_srchsrcx=makemodel

The last few might be a bit more expensive but tell those still asking $50K that they are dreaming.

Daihatsu charade conversion 2009-18, iMiEV 2013-2019, Holden Volt 2018-present, on the ACT's 100% renewable electricity. Kona on order.

The batch they were talking about were about $16.8k and are all gone now. The one listed for $19k is a private sale and the $23k one is a dealer.
