WTB - Holden Volt

Post by Mitchbiz » Mon, 01 Jul 2019, 16:49

Looking to buy a Holden Volt, preferably in WA, but willing to get one shipped interstate if the price & condition is right.
If you're thinking of trading one in for a nice shiny new EV, save us both the hassle of negotiating with a dealer!

I have such a beast as you describe... in Tassie.
Silver colour, 120,000km on the clock, currently gets about 55km battery-only range, but I bet it would do more in stop-start urban driving in a warmer climate.

I might have one in a little while. My wife and I are looking seriously at a shiny new EV with big battery and would then sell our Volt. We are just as far away in the ACT. Ours is a creamy white and has 103,000km. It consistently gets 55km of battery range in the middle of winter and 75km in summer, spring and autumn are in between, plus 600km with a full tank of petrol.
Daihatsu charade conversion 2009-18, iMiEV 2013-2019, Holden Volt 2018-present, on the ACT's 100% renewable electricity. Kona on order.

I have a Volt for sale now as our Model 3 has finally arrived.
Location is near Port Macquarie NSW
It is silver with 160,000km on it & is in good condition inside & out. Drives as well today as it did when we first bought it.
Rego is to December 2019. That could suit you being in WA & the NSW rego would be cancelled anyway
Our Volt comes with the original portable 6A/10A charger & a Clipper Creek 16A high power charger as well. (this would cost over $1000 by itself) This is the fastest a Volt can charge
Battery gets between 58km & 68km depending on the weather
Don't know what else to say. If you are looking for a Volt, you will know about them anyway.
Will have some pictures once the detailing is done.

I can now confirm that we are selling our Volt in early December. We are downsizing to one car and moving on from petrol entirely. So, recently, we sold our iMiEV. The Kona electric we ordered is due to arrive soon, in early December 2019. It still has over 2 years remaining of warranty on all its 'Voltec' components. Please get in touch for details if you are interested.

Thanks all for the replies. But I managed to find one locally that ticked all the boxes.
