After 15 months my Suzuki carry van is finally mobile Image
The only is problem I took so long my Lead Acid batteries are now out of fashion Image

I don't think I'll be able to get it registered for the field day so I'll have to trailer it there.

I'll post some pics after I tidy up the wiring.

My congratulations too, Mark. Im so looking forward to being in your position ie finished, not starting. My partner and I had suzuki vans for years, looking forward to hearing how a re-engineered one goes... Post those pics soon!

I am just about to start my own conversion of my Suzuki SUPER Carry, same gearbox etc as yours, I am hoping you can help me out with a template of the conversion plate you made, its so neat and tidy, and will probably save me a week of work.

I managed to find this complete machine at a forklift wreckers for $880 including tax and its 16.3 hp with a max spindle speed of 3480 rpm, all controllers, relays, meters and even the charger (but its 440v 3 phase, but i just won the correct 240v charger of ebay for $130).

i have every last part needed but the batteries as the ones with it are too big to use in a vehicle for the road.

whats the spindle speed on your motor?

how fast did you end up going on test drives?
