Thanks. Your links seem to be dead, do you have any plans to update them?

also looking at Ian Barties links there are some issues with his board, i.e swapping pins on some IC's. Did you update the board so you didn't have to do that?

Links are fixed now. Ian was selling the prototype boards, the files on the link have no errors that I know of.

I'm still not 100% sure of the difference between the vanilla american Open Revolt and the Oz Cougar. But at this point i'm definitely building one of these for my bike, with lower power components if it'll save me money haha
I'll drive an electric vehicle one day.

My Guesses:
1) The developer(s) already knew another micro environment / toolchain well
2) Arduino not powerful enough
3) Arduino language not suitable
Planned EV: '63 Cortina using AC and LiFePO4 Battery Pack

hmm ok i just been reading up on them and the newer one out is quite powerful and seems to have lots of IO ports which seems to be a limitation of the current system they have built and can have more pluged in and it seems to have lots of add on cards to

There are hundreds of micro-controllers that would be suitable for the job. It is all down to past experience and available development tools.
