I think that's Aaron Woodward's project, he lives not far from me. Should make for a nice EV, I haven't heard how the project is going lately though.

I hadn't seen it either.
Not only that, but my 10 year old son will be wrapped. I was not aware there had ever been a low cost Gull wing car imported into Australia and told him so. (He is entranced by gull wing doors.) Now he can target the donor for his first EV. Image

I like it. If I wasn't on track with rear wheel drive I'd be rethinking now. Two door means not odd looking when rear seats are removed and already an 'electric' look.

Oh - and remove that rear spoiler and the CD probably isn't half bad...

Hi There,

That's my current project car.
I actually found it on e-bay a year ago, had to take a trip to Melbourne to pick it up though.

Is a fun car to drive, but will be more fun with leccy power.

A GREAT car for electric. I'm jealous. How about starting a 'Members machines' thread on it? No pressure - it's just that we've love to track the progress no-matter how slow/fast. Just a photo every now and then and a comment or two.

I think Jaron is investigating all the possible options before he starts on his Sera.

Got enough volts, amps and controller, if the Impulse 9" doesn't cut it could always swap it out for something bigger Image

hmm interesting style.. I dont think those gull wing doors would fit in a normal car garage though , with the doors open.. they look like possibly 2-3 feet higher than the roof.. when wings are up.

WOuld be a nice car to convert.

Anyone spotted a nice stylish car around that price low weight front wheel drive as an alternative?

I was stroking my chin about this shape as i like it but then realised my car has to be in a garage.. body corporate crap -- or out in street..

I like that conversion though..
