Advanced DC L91-4003

that sounds very nice :)

Feel like making another one?

I think you'd probably only need 2 or 3:1 reduction in the low gear if you're using a normal bike sprocket setup for the final drive.

I'd be interested in what gearbox you're planning on using.
I'm looking at options for that at the moment :)

Advanced DC L91-4003

I have an A91-4003 which I'm about to test out for possible use in my bike. From what I've experienced and seen, I think the Perm motor is probably one of the best for the job, but they're not cheap. I'm looking at using a gearbox too, because to get a high enough top speed with direct drive, you ne...

Jaycar MB-3612 charger

I hope you got an Electus account for those! They'd be about $50 each then. I use two of these chargers for my bike (a 12v one and a 24v one) and disconnected the ground wire from the case to the -ve battery connection. The case is still earthed to the mains lead. The charger specs said it was isola...

the controller doesn't do proper regen, but it works as a 3 phase rectifier on overrun, and I get about 10amps back into the batteries if I back off at 60km/h.
I've designed a separate variable regen addon for it but have been working on getting the performance up before I add more bits to it :)

Andrew's Electrocycle

thanks :) I've been trying to get to the meetings for ages, but I seem to have something else on every time! There's heaps more room for batteries in my bike, especially if you're using the smaller lithium packs. I don't think it'd be difficult at all to build a 120km range bike, but the batteries w...

I only took a few pics, but will send them over.
