Re: Tc chargers dont like me. I have killed it.

Killed a 72v charger by doing just that. Ac relay is clicking on but no dc output . Only see battery voltage on any terminal. Dc fuse is good have tested the fuse on the board and also via tc method . Im thinking if i have read it correctly on the mention treads. It may be the enable line. As i had ...

Tc chargers dont like me. I have killed it.

Pulled the thunderstruck charger out because I increased pack to 45 cells and could not get putty app to load up to raise voltage, believe usb cable to blame. Had a tc 1500 144v charger here. Ran through a few charge cycles. Getting used to being a ev driver and my hard work with my project. Then on...

Re: Lifepo4 pack charging

Have bottom balance them all and charged them up in strings of 4x 4 times. And then bottom balanced final time at 2.85 v. At each stage let them rest for 4 hours then check resistance on all cells. Just bringing them up to final running voltage. Then test full drive line at 134v

Re: Lifepo4 pack charging

Yes they are the blue cells. Think I just grab a few beers and baby sit the cells for the first few chargers. Very keen to invest the time to get it right. But the primitive part of me cant wait.
Im happy to stay at 90% charge (heat bulid up and no need for the extra range atm).
Cherrs for the advice

Lifepo4 pack charging

After many hours bottom balancing all my cells for my traction pack. I have hit a drama with my tsm2500 charger. I believe the usb cable is toast. And have set the can bus up for 126 v (older cells). I could only fit 42 cells into the spot. So need to increase the end voltage via can bus. Question f...

Re: Tesla PW2

Have played with the idea of using excess sunny days to run a water pump to fill a number of water tanks.and then release water to run water wheels for base loads on cloudy days. 200 wet days year.

Bushbus and my gumtree stuff around. Bushbus needs cells

I just bought 34 lifepo cells on gumtree .But seller promised bushbus the same sale.
In turns out Bushbus is in desperate need for new cells for his house power south of Perth.
Can anyone help in locating some good cells (he has cash waiting).
