On the 22nd of June, 2015, the Royal Automobile Club of Western Australia (RAC) launched the nation's first Electric Highway - a network of fast chargers spanning the south-west coast and hinterland. The RAC Electric Highway consists of a total of 12 fast chargers, allowing a 30 minute recharge to about 80% capacity for most EVs.

What is the Electric Vehicle Expo?
The four-round series of the eFXC (Australian electric superbikes) was wrapped up for 2014 at Sydney Motorsports Park in November. West Australian Danny Pottage dominated throughout the season on the O'Hanlon Electric Motorsports "Voltron Evo" and claimed another clean sweep of all four races at SMP and taking the championship with 394 points.
The 41st Annual General Meeting of the Australian Electric Vehicle Association was held at the Moreland Civic Centre, Bell Street, Coburg. The Melbourne branch of the AEVA put on a fantastic show, starting with the Electric Future seminar series on Saturday.
The ITC Global EV Challenge will be on at the Wundowie Hurricane Go Kart Club this Saturday the 8th of November. Come along and check out some of the incredible machines designed and built by teams from high schools and TAFE colleges around the state.
