(Sometimes this comes up as Windsor on some GPS units)

Admission is free for members arriving in an Electric Vehicle; otherwise $2 for members or $3 for non-members to cover the cost of tea and biscuits.

AEVA Brisbane - Annual General Meeting

Hello,

this month is the Annual General Meeting. It is 7:30pm next Wednesday, 16/09/2015 at the Albion Peace Centre, 102 McDonald Rd, Windsor. Free for members arriving in an Electric Vehicle; otherwise $2 for members, $3 for non-members to cover catering costs.

At the AGM, we will be voting for the following positions (current financial members)
 - President / Convener
 - Secretary
 - Treasurer
 - Special Committee Members

Also we will be voting on the creation of a Public Charging Committee (Name still to be decided).

I encourage all financial members to please nominate for any of the positions. People bring their various skills to the association, which is our strength.

Byron Bay Solar Revolution Symposium big hit with EVs

Brisbane AEVA at Byron Solar Symposium

The Brisbane branch of the AEVA made an appearance at the 2015 Byron Bay Solar Revolution Symposium, showcasing many of the electric car and motorcycle options available in Australia today.  The Symposium was held on the 21st of March and included seminars and discussions on community owned renewable energy generation.
